Oracle Policy Automation Free Quizzes to Prepare or Test Yourself : New Quiz Added

And today is a special day since we have just finished making some updates to the existing quizzes and added another one, which means that today there are six Oracle Policy Automation Free Quizzes to Prepare or Test Yourself which means 60 questions (all different of course) and each quiz of 10 questions is against a time limit as well, so you can really put yourself in the driving seat for your next interview or examination.

Oracle Policy Automation Free Quizzes to Prepare or Test Yourself are just part of the picture of course : we encourage all Oracle Policy Automation consultants to get trained at Oracle University. As of today there are two courses that cover version 12 of Oracle Policy Automation :

  2. Oracle Policy Modelling for Policy Experts (3 days)

To complement these offerings, we have a variety of Oracle Policy Automation workshops available.

2018 Policy Automation Focus Group Events : Oracle Blog

2018 Policy Automation Focus Group Events : Oracle Blog

As Heike mentions on the Oracle Policy Automation Blog, the 2018 Policy Automation Focus Group Events are getting organized :

2018 Policy Automation Focus Group Events We are kicking off our annual Oracle Policy Automation Focus Group events across the globe…

For those of you who have not previously attended these events, they are designed to facilitate collaborative discussions with the OPA Product Development, hear from other customers about their projects, and to give feedback on planned innovations directly to the OPA product development team.

This is an excellent opportunity to connect with Product Development team and network with other OPA customers to learn from previous successful projects and helping drive product priorities.

This of course reminds me that everyone should in any case have already bookmarked the Oracle Policy Automation Blog : it is an excellent source of news about upcoming releases, future trends, chances to meet or listen to the leadership team and generally is the best place to find links to material that might be of interest to anyone in the Oracle Policy Automation or Modelling world.

Which also brings me to the subject of the Oracle Cloud “Try it for free” offer. I think that it is a crying shame that Oracle Policy Automation is neither available as a trial nor even as a one of the other free trials, quick tours, and demos that feature on the same site. It does not take that long to design a video, training course or overview demonstration and to put it up there for the world to see. If Oracle are listening and they have not got the time, the OPA Hub Website would absolutely love to help out!

Finally, as some of you are about to attend the Introduction to Oracle Policy Automation class at Oracle University with me as the instructor, it is good to know that the course has apparently been upgraded to the 17D version, which is a good thing indeed given the age of the previous course release. I look forward to seeing you all in a classroom soon.

Remember to keep checking back here or on the Oracle Policy Automation Blog for more updates about the 2018 Policy Automation Focus Group Events.

Oracle Policy Automation Training – Toronto 25 September 2017

Oracle Policy Automation TrainingTogether with our great friends at DesTech in Toronto, the OPA Hub is organizing some Oracle Policy Automation training in the Fall. The plan is to deliver the following two training courses. If they go ahead (of course we will be dependent on the numbers of students enrolling) then they will be completely official Oracle University training courses with the manuals and training environments you would expect. Added to which the location of DesTech in downtown Toronto near to many transport hubs (airports, railway stations and subways) is just perfect.

Monday : Introduction to Oracle Policy Automation

“This Oracle Policy Automation training introduces you to the skills and tools for capturing, analyzing, publishing and maintaining business policies and regulations. Working hands-on, you’ll learn how you can efficiently use this fast and accurate policy modeling, guidance and decision automation solution.”

Tuesday to Thursday :  Oracle Policy Modeling for Policy Experts

This course provides many hands-on exercises with Oracle’s leading policy automation and modeling product. It is highly recommended for anyone working with Policy Modeling, or collaborating with a Policy Automation project team. All team members that complete the course will understand the key concepts and terminology for Policy Automation projects. The course is aimed at a non-technical audience, with a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word being the only recommended prior knowledge.”

These two courses can be seen as “Oracle Policy Automation Essentials for Version 12”. Students will get a free copy of our book, Getting Started with Oracle Policy Automation [2017 Edition] and if anyone is interested I will happily chat about Siebel and Oracle Policy Automation as well : integration, Web Services, The Hub and so on.

If you are interested

Please get in touch with Patrice from DesTech using the details on this page. Alternatively, post a comment on this article and I will get you talking to him.

Oracle Policy Automation Training – Toronto 25th September

We are seeking attendees for this training in Toronto Downtown in the week of 25th September 2017. The following training  courses are planned to run on those dates:

Introduction to Oracle Policy Automation (1 day – Monday 25 September)

“This Oracle Policy Automation training introduces you to the skills and tools for capturing, analyzing, publishing and maintaining business policies and regulations. … It is highly recommended for anyone working with Policy Automation, or collaborating with a Policy Automation project team.” (from the Oracle University website). This training is ideal for anyone using Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow), or Oracle Siebel CRM, and who plans to work with Oracle Policy Automation. It gives a great overview of the capabilities and out-of-the-box functionality, making is suitable also for managers and key users who plan to be involved in the project. I am happy to answer any question about Oracle Policy Automation Cloud Service, or On-Premise version.

Oracle Policy Modelling for Policy Experts (3 days – starts Tuesday 26 September)

This Oracle Policy Modelling course is suitable for a wide variety of profiles who will be actively involved in writing and designing rules in Oracle Policy Automation. “This course provides many hands-on exercises with Oracle’s leading policy automation and modeling product. It is highly recommended for anyone working with Policy Modeling, or collaborating with a Policy Automation project team. All team members that complete the course will understand the key concepts and terminology for Policy Automation projects. The course is aimed at a non-technical audience” (from the Oracle University website). Again, this course is suitable for people on stand-alone projects, Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) projects or Oracle Siebel CRM projects.

We are only 2 people short of a confirmed course, and I would very much hope that the community can pass this message on and hopefully we can make it happen. If you are interested in enroling in this official Oracle University sanctioned event (held at an Oracle Partner training centre), please contact Patrice Brown on the numbers on this page.

Veuillez nous contacter directement si vous êtes intéressé par cette formation en français.
